EHS UNIVERSAL USAGE ON LOGO

GUIDELINES ON USE OF EHS UNIVERSAL LOGO AND MARK

1. PURPOSE

This guide defines the use of the EHSU Certificate, Mark of Accredited Registration and Certification Logo to ensure conformity to accreditation body requirements.

You may use the EHS Universal Pte Ltd (EHSU) Mark on its own. In using the EHS Universal Pte Ltd Mark (Mark as shown above) on its own the following rules apply:

  • Size – When the EHSU Mark is printed on an unfolded portion of stationery sized no greater than A4, it shall be displayed in a size no larger than 30mm high. On larger portions of unfolded stationery, the size may be proportionately increased.

  • 20mm is the normal minimum height for the EHSU Mark. It may be displayed smaller than this if necessary but must always be legible.

  • The EHSU Mark must not be altered in shape, proportion or content. It must include the Standard number as shown above.

  • Color– The EHSU Mark should be produced in the colors identified below

2. THE FOLLOWING RULES APPLY TO THE USE OF THE COMBINED MARK ON YOUR MATERIALS, PROPERTY AND DOCUMENTATION:

The Combined Mark may be used on:

  • Stationery – Letterheads, compliment slips, labels, invoices… The Mark may be used on business cards but must always be legible.

  • Advertising material–Posters, TV advertisements, promotional videos, newsletters, brochures. The EHS Universal mark can be used on a company website but should not appear on web-pages which directly promote the client company’s products or services that are not covered by the certification.

  • Internal walls and doors.

  • Exhibition stands.


  • The Combined Mark may not be used on:

  • Products.

  • Publicity information on products - This includes notices, labels, documents or written announcements, affixed to or otherwise appearing on goods or products. This restriction also applies to primary (e.g. blister packs) packaging.

  • Test and calibrations and certificates and inspection reports.

  • Training Certificates.

  • Promotional gifts – Mugs, calendars, Christmas cards, paper weights…..

  • Building Flags.

  • Vehicles.


  • Upon suspension or withdrawal of certification by EHS Universal, the client shall immediately cease:

  • using the certificate or combined certification marks for potential business opportunities (e.g. participating in a tender).

  • distribution of all items on which the combined certification mark or any reference to EHS Universal certification are displayed, and shall ensure discontinued use or distribution of these items.

  • using statement(s) regardless of documented or not documented to imply that they are still being certified by EHS Universal Pte Ltd.

3. USE OF SAC ACCREDITATION LOGO

3.1 CERTIFICATION USAGAE
  • Certification validity period is three (3) years, with the date of expiry stated therein in the, Certificate. Certification can be maintained by recertification audit upon expiry.

  • Surveillance audits are to be performed on a six (6) or twelve (12) monthly basis, with the 1st surveillance to be performed within one year after the certification decision made date. If such surveillance audit is not performed, the certification will be suspended.

  • EHS Universal Pte Ltd will give one (1) month advanced notification on upcoming surveillance audit. The audit date shall be fixed, and notification will be sent one (1) week before the scheduled audit. Change of audit date is usually not permitted, unless there is specific reason to change, and shall be subjected to EHS Universal schedule.

  • In the event that surveillance audit cannot be performed within the timeframe due to special reason, such as moving of office removal, extension on audit scope, etc., prior notice must be given to EHS Universal.

3.1 SUSPENSION OF CERTIFICATION
  • The certification shall be suspended under the occurrence of any of the following circumstances:

    • Surveillance audit is not performed within one month from the established timeframe.
    • No further action was taken after a follow-up visit.
    • Misuse of Certificate and Logo or Non-payment of the audit fee.
  • In the event that the certification is suspended, EHS Universal may notify relevant bodies and organizations in this regard without discussion.

In the event that you did not implement the corrective actions that you are required to take due to the misuse of accreditation, certification mark and Logos, the accreditation board will be notified accordingly.

4. THE FOLLWING RULES APPLY TO THE USE OF THE EHSU

The EHSU Mark may be used on:

The EHSU Mark may not be used on:

  • Products

  • Test and calibrations and certificates and inspection reports

5. USE OF CERTIFICATE

  • Copy of certificate can be used and presented, when necessary.

  • Request for issuance of additional original certificate will be subjected to an issuance fee of S$ 350 per certificate plus any tax applicable.

  • Alteration on the issued certificate is strictly prohibited and if found, EHS Universal shall treat the matter through legal means.

6. CONDITION FOR USE OF CERTIFICATION MARK

  • Where the client is certified under the SAC Scheme, the certified client may use the SAC accreditation mark with the certification mark.

  • When using the SAC accreditation mark + certification mark, the certified client shall ensure that the standard awarded and their registration/certificate number are clearly displayed and EHSU accreditation number imprinted, as follow:

The certified customers of certification bodies are allowed to use the relevant SAC accreditation mark in conjunction with the certification mark of the accredited certification bodies to promote their compliance with certain standards and requirements.

CERTIFICATE NUMBER:

  • The SAC accreditation mark together with EHS Universal certification mark shall be used together and boxed up as shown above. EHS Universal certification mark must come before the SAC accreditation mark. EHS Universal certification mark shall maintain similar proportions to the SAC accreditation mark. The difference in the height of EHS Universal certification mark and SAC accreditation mark shall not be more than 5%.

  • Both marks may be uniformly enlarged and / or reduced but shall not be less than 15 mm in height. The combined mark shall always be used in its original, designed proportions and not to be distorted, compressed or stretched in any way. It shall be used on a background that will not impede readability and only be used in its normal horizontal orientation and not be rotated.

  • When the certified company is using its own name or logo together with the combined SAC and EHS Universal mark, the display shall be such that the combined mark is no less prominent than the certified company name or logo.
